IDRS Ltd delighted to welcome Chris Holland to the team

IDRS Ltd is pleased to announce today the appointment of Chris Holland as consultant across its consumer dispute resolution business, which includes CISAS and POSTRS.

Chris was, until June 2011, Head of Specialist Dispute Resolution at BT where he was part of BT's customer service senior management team, responsible for a range of areas involving complex complaints, including: ADR, legal cases, Data Subject Access Requests and Actual Financial Loss claims. He was also the BT Retail Customer Service lead on regulatory matters.

Chris handled all aspects of BT's membership of Ombudsman Services: Communications.  He was a key member of the working group that implemented the Telecommunications Ombudsman Service and was a founding member of the Service's Council.  Chris was a non-executive Director of The Ombudsman Service Limited until March 2011.

Chris has held a number of customer service roles in BT, including heading the Chairman and Chief Executive's Service Office between 1987 and 2001.  As well as operational responsbility, Chris helped develop strategy and he presented to a wide range of audiences on complaint handling issues.

IDRS Managing Director Gregory Hunt says "It is clear that Chris brings a vast amount of customer service experience to IDRS and we are delighted that he has accepted our offer to work closely with us across our various consumer dispute resolution schemes.  Having Chris work with us will no doubt enhance the service IDRS will be able to provide to all users."

Chris continues to sit on Ofcom's Communications Consumer Panel.  He is a qualified counsellor and has done voluntary work with young people.  In his personal life Chris is an amateur musician and a Humanist Funeral Celebrant.
